Under pressure

Posted: February 10, 2010 in Todays Bible Reading

Sometimes it feels like the more I trust God, the more pressure there is. Almost as if the devil is really standing there making thing more and more difficult, the more I praise God, and the more I trust.
I am so positive about this year, and really feel God has answered some prayers, but also there are plenty of things in life that just pressure me.
At the moment things are really rough at work, my car is giving me problems my finances are tight.

I am reminded of this passage, Habakkuk 3:17-19
17Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls,
18Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation!(A)
19The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! For the Chief Musician; with my stringed instruments.

Even though my car breaks down, my work is stressful and even if I run out of money in the bank, I will still praise God!
Nothing can separate us from the love of God! I hold on to that hope.

Praise God!
