Word of the day

shivaree \SHIV-uh-ree\ , noun;

1. A mock serenade with kettles, pans, horns, and other noisemakers given for a newly married couple

2. An elaborate, noisy celebration.

I know where you can use this word! when you are one of this Idols judges, and want to tell someone they dont sing very well, but don’t want them to know it, you can simply say. ” Your voice is like a shivaree!”

They might think it is a complement, but it isn’t. Hahaha!
